This is the world of Underground Evolution, the free-to-play crime game we are building at Cool Monkey Studios. It plays right in your browser, no download needed, and it is made for adults (18+).
From the pavement to the Don’s chair
You start with nothing on the pavement of the Southside Slums. From there it is up to you: run errands, pull your first crimes, hit the gym, take a job and start building a name. Climb through the city’s districts, each with its own landmarks, dangers, rivals and crimes, and work your way up, alone or with a family behind you.
A city that keeps score
- Crimes by district. Nearly sixty of them, from purse-snatching in the Slums to the jobs only the brave try further up the Hill. A job can go right, fall through, or land you in a cell.
- Jail and hospital with consequences. The police remember repeat offenders, and friends can bust you out.
- Families. Found or join a gang, set your ranks, fill the treasury and earn respect together.
- Money that moves. A player-run Bazaar, a stock exchange for armchair tycoons, homes to buy and rooms to rent out.
- The Evening Racket. The city’s own newspaper, where the big stories of the day make the front page.
Fair by design
Gold, the game’s premium currency, only buys convenience and looks, never power. You can play the whole game for free, and nobody can buy their way to the top of a fight.
